On top of this blog I update everyday the number of our American brothers and sisters who have died for GW's folly in Iraq. As I leave very early in the morning for work, I scan the radio for any war news and updates. I was saddened to hear of the deaths of 8 more U,S. soldiers on Memorial day. Even sadder when I thought of what those families will live with every Memorial day from now on.
This p.m. when I checked the count, it had gone up by 12, the number is now 3467 KIA and many thousands injured with another 107 who have committed suicide abroad and I don't know how many more who have taken their lives once home. This will be GW's legacy, hubris, arrogance, ignorance, party before nation and many fine young men and woman who pay the ultimate price for his neocon agenda. Keep our troops in your thoughts and an eye on your government!
